Henry G. Sanchez has exhibited his artwork primarily in the metropolitan area since 1993. Born in Houston, Texas he moved to the New York City area, after a brief stint in seminary school, to pursue his art career. Mr. Sanchez had solo shows at 58 Gallery (Jersey City, NJ) and the Taller Boriqua Gallery (NY, NY). He has been included in a number of group shows such as Promotional Copy (Guggenheim Museum, Soho), Cut It Out (Lab Gallery, NY, NY), the 2002 the New Jersey Arts Annual (Jersey City Museum), Weird New Jersey; the Exhibition (Here Art Center NY, NY), Headlines (Pierro Gallery, South Orange, NJ), Sanctuary (Rupert Ravens Contemporary, Newark, NJ) and Consent (The CUNY Graduate Center, Manhattan, NY).

Mr. Sanchez is a graduate of Rutgers University where he received his Masters degree in International Relations in 2000. From 2001 to 2003, Mr. Sanchez served as the legislative aide to the County Executive of Hudson County, New Jersey. He also served as the President of the United Nations Association of New York from 2003-2005. Henry G. Sanchez retired from his political career in 2005 to devote his time and effort to his art works.
